Tomato Sauce for Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 800 gr canned, crushed tomatoes (or 8 fresh tomatoes, coarsely grated)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fructose
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

PREPARATION

  1. In a small pot, sauté garlic and pepper in olive oil until golden.
  2. Add tomatoes and water and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  3. Blend in a food processor.
