INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 cloves
  • 2 anise stars
  • 5 slices fresh ginger
  • 600 ml boiling water
  • 400 ml warm milk (optional)
  • Nuts and almonds, ground

PREPARATION

  1. Place spices in a heat-proof pitcher. Add water, mix and let seep.
  2. Add milk if desired and mix well.
  3. Pour into serving glasses, garnish with ground nuts and almonds, and serve.
