No-Baking Peanut Butter Squares30 January, 2019
- 100 gr sugar-free halva
- 100 gr butter or butter-flavored margarine
- 4 tablespoons sugar-free silan (date syrup)
- 2 tablespoons sugar substitute
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
- 2 cups rice crispies
- 200 gr sesame seeds, roasted
- 100 gr sunflower seeds, roasted
- 100 gr nuts, toasted
- Melt together halva, butter, silan, sugar substitute and coffee, in a large pot, over a medium heat.
- Stir until a uniform mixture is obtained.
- Remove from heat and add rice crispies, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and nuts.
- Spread mixture in a greased or lined baking pan so that layer is about 2 cm thick.
- Refrigerate until hard, about 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares and store in the refrigerator in a closed container.
