Basic Tahini Sauce

  • 2 cups raw tahini (sesame) paste
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Juice from one lemon
  • Handful of parsley, minced
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Process all of the ingredients in a food processor until a thick paste is obtained. If paste is too thick, add water until desired consistency is obtained.
  2. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
